Aerospace Quality Inspector

Our client, in the aerospace manufacturing industry is seeking a Quality Inspector to join their team. As a Quality Inspector, you will be part of the inspection team supporting airplane wheel and brake manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Quality Inspector

Location: Santa Fe Springs, CA

Pay Range: $32-36/hour

What’s the Job?

• Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections using precision measuring and testing equipment.
• Utilize inspection methods and quality tools, including complex part setups and coordinate measuring machines (CMMs) when applicable.
• Verify Statistical Process Control (SPC) data and inspection records to ensure product compliance.
• Document inspection results, nonconforming material, and quality findings within the company's Manufacturing Execution System (MES).
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to investigate discrepancies, resolve quality issues, and support continuous improvement efforts.

What’s Needed?

• US Citizenship
• High school diploma, GED, or vocational/technical training in a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, and other inspection tools.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, procedures, and quality documentation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
