Our client, a leading automotive manufacturing organization, is seeking an Automotive Manufacturing Industrial Engineer to join their team. As an Industrial Engineer or Manufacturing Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting production and process improvement initiatives, particularlye balancing, packaging, time studies, design review and/or simple Solidworks designs, etc.. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, adaptability, and strong communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Holland, Michigan
Pay Range:$100,000 - $115,000 DOE plus benefits, bonus
What's the Job?
- Support manufacturing in resolving production issues efficiently and effectively.
- Provide engineering support to implement new products into production seamlessly.
- Lead process design functions to optimize product flow within manufacturing cells.
- Establish resource requirements and material flow using industrial engineering techniques.
- Analyze product structures and processes to eliminate inefficiencies and reduce costs.
What's Needed?
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Demonstrated understanding of Lean Manufacturing and current manufacturing engineering techniques.
- Technical proficiency in machine design and equipment engineering, including controls and operating logic, line balancing, new production line launch, time studies, packaging, assembly, Solidworks design and review, etc.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and develop solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams and influence decisions.
