Our client, a global corporate facilities services organization, is seeking a Facilities Coordinator to join their team. As a Facilities Coordinator, you will be part of the Facilities Management team supporting daily building operations, vendor management, workplace services, and facility maintenance activities. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent customer service, and effective communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Building Maintenance Technician
Location: NY, NY
Pay Range: $31.00/hour 

What's the Job?

  • Coordinate routine maintenance and repairs involving HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems.
  • Perform daily site walks, manage work orders, and support office resets, conference room setups, and workplace requests.
  • Coordinate vendors and contractors, ensuring repairs and preventive maintenance activities are completed successfully.
  • Maintain facility records, inventory, compliance documentation, and maintenance logs.
  • Support workplace safety initiatives and assist with inspections, emergency procedures, and facility compliance.

What's Needed?

  • 10+ years of building maintenance, facilities maintenance, or related experience.
  • Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
  • Experience managing work orders, preventive maintenance activities, and vendor coordination.
  • Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and facility management software.
