Construction Project Engineer

Our client, a technology company, is seeking a Construction Project Engineer to join their team. As a Construction Project Engineer, you will be part of the Construction team supporting Construction Managers, General Contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and project stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.
 

Job Title: Construction Project Engineer
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Pay Range: $53.69 - $57.85/hr

• Support Construction Managers with day-to-day project execution activities and coordinate with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders.
• Monitor construction progress, track project milestones, and assist with schedule reviews and recovery plans.
• Manage project documentation including RFIs, submittals, NCRs, punch lists, turnover documents, and meeting minutes.
• Support change management activities, including tracking TIAs, CORs, change orders, and design changes.
• Assist with field walks, quality inspections, commissioning readiness activities, and turnover support.

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• 3+ years of construction project engineering, field engineering, project coordination, or project management experience.
• Experience supporting commercial, industrial, mission-critical, or data center construction projects.
• Understanding of construction documents, specifications, RFI processes, and submittals.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, and project management tools.
