Our client, a leading commercial construction organization, is seeking a Construction Project Manager to join their team. As a Construction Project Manager, you will be part of the department supporting project execution and delivery. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Construction Project Manager

Location:Phoenix, Arizona

Pay Range:$90,000 - $160,000 base plus bonus and benefits

What's the Job?

  • Lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring successful delivery on time and within budget.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, and quality control measures while monitoring project costs and profitability.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants to resolve technical issues and maintain project momentum.
  • Process and manage subcontractor payments, change orders, and monthly cost reporting.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for project owners, leading meetings and providing regular status updates.

What's Needed?

  • BS or MS in Construction Engineering preferred or a BS in Engineering with relevant experience.
  • 5+ years project manager experience preferred in construction for a variety of industries (e.g. data centers, hospitals, municipal spaces and buildings, utlities, industrial manufacturing plants, schools, etc.)
  • Experience with estimating and conceptual estimating.
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with potential clients.
  • Proficient in construction software (Procore, Bluebeam, and Sage) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project).
