Construction QA Manager

Our client, a leader in industrial construction and project management, is seeking a Construction QA Manager to join their team. As a Construction QA Manager, you will be part of the Quality Assurance Department supporting large-scale industrial projects. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Lead and manage the site quality assurance program, including planning, oversight of surveillance, audits, inspections, and verification activities.
• Direct, mentor, and evaluate discipline QA leads and inspectors to ensure qualification and performance standards are met.
• Serve as the primary QA interface with construction management, engineering, commissioning, and contractor teams to communicate quality status and resolve systemic issues.
• Oversee identification, documentation, trending, and resolution of nonconformances, ensuring root-cause analysis and effective corrective actions.
• Review and approve quality documentation packages, audit reports, and turnover deliverables for compliance and accuracy.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 15 years’ quality experience on large-scale industrial projects, with at least 5 years in a QA leadership or site quality management role.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multi-disciplined quality teams and interpret technical documents and project quality requirements.
• Advanced knowledge of quality assurance/quality management systems and construction codes and standards applicable to multi-discipline industrial construction.
• Proven ability to investigate, trend, and resolve complex or systemic quality issues, and drive corrective/preventive actions.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to operate effectively under tight timelines and high-pressure situations.
