Design Liaison Engineer – Gas Turbine Manufacturing & Quality | $51.68/hr | One year contract

Our client, a global leader in energy technology and advanced manufacturing, is seeking a Design Liaison Engineer - Gas Turbine Manufacturing & Quality (NX/GD&T) to join their team. As a Design Liaison Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering and Manufacturing organization supporting cross-functional Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and Production teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent cross-functional communication, and a continuous improvement mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

Location: Greenville, SC
Pay Range: $51.68/hour

What's the Job?

• Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to resolve hardware non-conformances and production issues.
• Support design-for-manufacturability (DFM), lean manufacturing initiatives, and concurrent engineering activities.
• Assist in the qualification of new manufacturing processes, process changes, and production equipment.
• Drive continuous improvement efforts focused on defect reduction, process optimization, quality enhancement, and cost savings.
• Provide technical support for advanced manufacturing processes, including castings, coatings, drilling, and gas turbine component production.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 2 years of engineering experience in manufacturing, design, quality, or related technical environments.
• Experience supporting manufacturing processes, production engineering, or product development activities.
• Knowledge of GD&T, engineering drawings, and mechanical component manufacturing.
• Experience with gas turbine components, NX, ANSYS, Lean Manufacturing, SPC, or advanced manufacturing processes is highly preferred.

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 1st Shift | Flexible Hours (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
