Facilities Maintenance Technician

Our client, a global commercial real estate and facilities management company, is seeking a Maintenance Technician Level 4 to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician Level 4, you will be part of the Facilities Operations and Building Maintenance Team supporting building operations, facility maintenance, and contractor/vendor services. The ideal candidate will have troubleshooting skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Technician Level 4
Location: Shrewsbury, MA (On-Site)
Pay Range: 36 per hour

What's the Job?

• Perform advanced preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on building systems, industrial equipment, and facility infrastructure.
• Monitor building systems including HVAC, fire alarms, plumbing, lighting, and mechanical equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Review, complete, and document maintenance work orders, repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and building systems while responding to emergency maintenance situations.
• Coordinate and inspect work performed by outside contractors and vendors including HVAC, landscaping, plumbing, snow removal, remodeling, and cleaning services.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of 4 years of maintenance experience and/or trade school training.
• Universal CFC Certification required; EPA Certification preferred.
• Experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical systems, building maintenance, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
• Ability to use work order systems, email, Microsoft Outlook, and basic computer applications.
• Ability to work overnight shifts, lift 50+ pounds, climb ladders, and perform physical maintenance duties.
