Facilities Technician 3

Our client, a leading facilities management and building operations organization, is seeking a Facilities Technician to join their team. As a Facilities Technician, you will be part of the Facilities Operations team supporting building maintenance, electrical outage response, and workplace services. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Newport, DE

Pay Range: $35.00/hour

What’s the Job?

• Monitor building mechanical and electrical systems and execute equipment shutdown procedures when needed.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on HVAC, electrical, life safety, and building systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair facility equipment while maintaining accurate maintenance records.
• Conduct light administrative duties and support tasks, including eyewash station inspections and equipment organization.

What’s Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of facilities maintenance, mechanical, electrical, or HVAC experience.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC control systems and building operations.
• Ability to work independently during evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts.
• Experience following safety procedures and responding to critical building system events.
