Facility Maintenance Technician

Our client, Facilities and Maintenance Services is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Facility Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Facilities team supporting assigned buildings. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills that will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Facility Maintenance Technician

Location: Southlake, TX

Pay Range: $28-$30/hr

Shift: 8a-5p M-F

What's the Job?

• Monitor the facility to ensure it remains safe, secure, and well-maintained
• Troubleshoot power, HVAC system and controls, and mechanical systems
• Perform general and preventative maintenance, including carpentry and plumbing systems, and support vendor management
• Replace lighting system bulbs and ballasts as needed
• Move office furniture, machinery, equipment, and other materials as requested

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED required
• 2-4 years of experience required
• Basic ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Basic knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance
• Interpersonal skills and attention to detail with a strong problem-solving mindset
