Failure Analysis Engineer

Our client, a leading organization in the electronics and engineering industry, is seeking a Failure Analysis Engineer I to join their team. As a Failure Analysis Engineer I, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting the failure analysis and troubleshooting of electronic circuits. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, a quick learning ability, and self-motivation, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Perform troubleshooting and failure analysis of electronic circuits, including both analogue and digital components.
• Understand and interpret schematics and circuit functions to identify issues.
• Design, build, and assemble prototype circuits for testing and validation purposes.
• Document quality issues and performance metrics for management review.
• Coordinate with external vendors as needed to support failure analysis activities.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering (Master's degree is also acceptable).
• 0-3 years of relevant experience; training will be provided for entry-level candidates.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access.
• Knowledge of common failure modes of electronic components and assemblies.
• Strong soft skills, including excellent verbal and written communication, fast learning, and self-motivation.
