Industrial Engineer 

Our client, a leading automotive manufacturing company, is seeking an Industrial Engineer to join their team. As an Industrial Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting Manufacturing, Production, and Quality teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Industrial Engineer 
Location: Warren, MI
Pay Range: $36-$41/hr

What's the Job?

• Analyze statistical data and product specifications to determine standards and establish quality and reliability objectives of finished products.
• Develop manufacturing methods, labor utilization standards, and cost analysis systems to improve staff and facility utilization.
• Plan manufacturing and assembly operations while optimizing the use of personnel, materials, and resources.
• Coordinate quality control activities to resolve production issues, improve product reliability, and reduce costs.
• Design and optimize equipment, material flow, and workspace layouts to maximize operational efficiency.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• 0-2 years of Industrial Engineering or related manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, logistics, inventory control, and production coordination.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Experience with engineering software such as MS Project, MS Visual Basic, or ABAQUS is preferred.
