Our client, a leading organization in the autonomous mobility sector, is seeking a dedicated IT Application Engineer to join their dynamic team. As an IT Application Engineer, you will be an integral part of the IT department supporting various teams across the organization. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within our innovative environment.

Location: Foster City, CA

Pay Range: $83/hour + Benefits

What's the Job?

  • Design, create, and maintain processes, integrations, applications, and scripts to optimize operational workflows.
  • Define system requirements for new and existing applications to ensure seamless functionality and scalability.
  • Create and implement company-wide tools and methodologies to enhance productivity and data management.
  • Oversee, and often perform, major application installations and upgrades to maintain system integrity.
  • Develop applications supporting physical product design, manufacturing, logistics, and inventory systems to streamline operations.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, information systems, computer science, or a related technology field.
  • Deep knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems to manage diverse environments.
  • Experience managing applications and their related systems to ensure stability and performance.
  • Proficiency in scripting and development languages such as Python, C#, PowerShell, Bash, etc.
  • In-depth understanding of relational and Object/NoSQL databases, along with TCP/IP networking fundamentals.
