Lead Subcontracts Specialist

Our client, an aerospace and defense technology company, is seeking a Lead Subcontracts Specialist to join their team. As a Lead Subcontracts Specialist, you will be part of the Mechanical Assembly Government Sourcing team supporting key Aerospace programs. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, excellent communication skills, and strong interpersonal skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Tempe, AZ
Pay Range: $40.39/hr

What’s the Job?

• Execute FAR 15 subcontracts in accordance with FAR, DFARS, and applicable regulations.
• Develop negotiation strategies and negotiate FAR 15-compliant subcontracts with suppliers.
• Manage key program suppliers and build supplier strategies to deliver best value.
• Deliver compliant FAR 15 proposal packages to government customers and partner with Pricing to ensure compliant submissions.
• Train and mentor team members while supporting the full subcontract lifecycle from proposal development through contract execution.

What’s Needed?

• 3–5 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, supply chain, Law & Contracts (L&C), business, or finance.
• Experience with FAR 15 subcontracting.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
