Our client, a manufacturing and industrial organization, is seeking a Learning and Development Specialist to join their team. As a Learning and Development Specialist, you will be part of the Human Resources function, supporting leaders and employees across the organization. The ideal candidate will have hands-on learning program ownership, strong project management, and the ability to use metrics and feedback to improve performance and close skill gaps—aligning successfully in a fast-paced, operational environment.

Location: Beaumont, Texas
Pay Range: $85,000 - $95,000
What's the Job?
- Own the design, development, hands-on implementation, and ongoing management of learning and development programs, performance management, and succession planning processes that support business needs.
- Independently create programs from the ground up—then launch, facilitate, maintain, and continuously improve them to close employee skill gaps and strengthen leadership capability.
- Conduct training needs assessments and develop annual and department-specific training plans based on identified gaps, business priorities, and operational requirements.
- Build practical tools and procedures for performance management and succession planning, help leaders set meaningful objectives, and support employees and managers with career and development planning.
- Use metrics, employee feedback, and business data to evaluate program effectiveness, identify trends and barriers, and recommend or implement improvements.
What's Needed?
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Training and Development, Organizational Development, Organizational Psychology, or a related field preferred.
- Seven or more years of progressive Human Resources experience with significant responsibility for learning and development, organizational development, performance management, or a related area.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience independently creating, launching, facilitating, maintaining, and improving learning programs across multiple employee levels.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple training and development initiatives at the same time.
- Experience with learning management systems and performance management platforms; Paylocity or comparable HRIS/LMS experience is preferred.
