Our client, a leading organization in the automotive manufacturing industry, is seeking a Manufacturing Process Specialist to join their team in Auburn Hills, MI. As a Manufacturing Process Specialist, you will be part of the Manufacturing Operations team supporting tooling, supplier coordination, and program launch activities. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and possess strong analytical skills that will contribute to successful program execution and operational excellence.
Job Title: Manufacturing Process Specialist
Location: Auburn Hills, MI (Onsite)
Pay Range: $98.69/hour
Schedule: First Shift (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM)
What's the Job?
- Review manufacturing process simulations, tooling designs, and feasibility studies for new product launches.
- Monitor tooling, die construction, machining activities, and supplier deliverables to ensure program milestones are met.
- Manage simulation reports, tooling timelines, and stamping parts tracking documentation.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure engineering changes are implemented on schedule.
- Audit tooling and manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with established quality and operational standards.
What's Needed?
- Bachelor's degree required; Manufacturing, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including large data management, reporting, chart creation, and data analysis.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
- Experience coordinating projects, suppliers, manufacturing operations, tooling, automotive, or related environments.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
