Our client, a global leader in the heavy‑duty truck manufacturing industry, is looking for a Manufacturing Quality Engineer to join their onsite team in Shippensburg, PA.
This is a hands‑on, plant‑based role ideal for a Quality Engineer with 2–5 years of experience who enjoys working close to production, solving real manufacturing problems, and seeing the direct impact of their work on product quality and plant performance.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Work directly with manufacturing and engineering teams on the shop floor to support product and production quality.
- Use core quality tools such as PFMEA, Control Plans, and Statistical Process Control (SPC) to improve processes and reduce variation.
- Support inspection and testing activities, including gauges and measurement systems, ensuring parts meet engineering specifications.
- Analyze manufacturing data using Minitab and Excel to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues, helping prevent future defects.
This role offers strong visibility and ownership of quality outcomes within a large‑scale manufacturing operation.
What We’re Looking For
- 2–5 years of experience as a Quality Engineer in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Practical experience with manufacturing quality processes (PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC).
- Exposure to root cause analysis methods (8D, RCCA, CAPA).
- Comfort working with data using Excel and Minitab.
- Basic ability to read engineering drawings using tools such as AutoCAD, Catia, or Creo.
- This position is focused on manufacturing quality (not software or IT QA).
