Mobile Maintenance Mechanic

Our client, an institutional facilities organization is seeking a Mobile Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. As a Mobile Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of the maintenance team supporting daily operations across multiple sites. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a strong safety mindset, a clear communicator, and the ability to handle emergency situations with calm, practical problem-solving.

Job Title:Mobile Maintenance Mechanic

Location:Twin Falls, ID (Montpelier, ID area; within 10 minutes of Montpelier and/or within Soda Springs)

Pay Range: $25 to $29 per hour

What's the Job?

• Perform minor plumbing repairs including leak resolution, fixture maintenance, and clearing clogs to ensure proper water system functionality
• Complete electrical repairs such as replacing switches, outlets, and receptacles, and maintain lighting systems by replacing bulbs, ballasts, and fixtures
• Handle carpentry tasks including door adjustments, hardware installation, cabinetry repairs, wall patching, and painting interior and exterior surfaces
• Support basic HVAC troubleshooting activities including thermostat adjustments, filter replacements, and resolving simple temperature or airflow issues as directed
• Process and complete work orders through the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) while meeting established service level agreements and response time requirements

What's Needed?

• Minimum 3 years of general maintenance experience in commercial or institutional facilities
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and building systems with HVAC knowledge as required by client scope
• Demonstrated ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Proven problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Proficiency using computerized work order systems (CMMS) and basic tablet or mobile device applications
