What’s the Job?

• Install, maintain, and repair low-voltage electrical systems in accordance with building codes and manufacturer specifications.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment to optimize performance and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose low-voltage electrical system issues and implement effective corrective actions.
• Repair or replace defective electrical components, equipment, and wiring using hand and power tools.
• Conduct system testing, performance verification, and operational adjustments.
• Maintain accurate maintenance and repair documentation, including parts usage and labor records.
• Collaborate with facility teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
• Support equipment performance objectives within a mission-critical municipal facility.
• Follow all company safety procedures, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Deliver excellent customer service while responding professionally to maintenance-related concerns.

What’s Needed?

• Minimum 5 years of practical experience in low-voltage electrical work.
• Strong commercial, industrial, and/or institutional electrical experience.
• Proven troubleshooting, maintenance, installation, and repair experience with low-voltage systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings.
• Experience working with preventive maintenance programs and electrical testing procedures.
• HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting experience is preferred.
• Journeyman Electrician License/Card preferred but not required.
• Valid low-voltage electrical license or certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and respond to emergency or on-call situations as needed.
