Our client, a leading aluminum die casting manufacturer, is seeking a Process Control Technician to join their team. As a Process Control Technician, you will be part of the Manufacturing Engineering and Operations Department supporting Production, Quality, Tooling, Maintenance, and Engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Process Control Technician

Shift: 3rd Shift (10:00PM to 6:00AM)

Location: Grafton, WI

Pay Range: $28.50 to $41.00/hr

What's the Job?

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize die casting process parameters to ensure consistent quality and productivity.
  • Monitor critical process variables including temperatures, shot profiles, injection speeds, pressures, and cycle times.
  • Analyze casting defects, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to reduce scrap and improve yields.
  • Support die tryouts, new product launches, process validations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Train operators and setup technicians on approved process standards and machine setup procedures.

What's Needed?

  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, preferably in die casting, casting operations, machining, automation, or maintenance.
  • Strong understanding of aluminum die casting processes, process controls, and manufacturing equipment.
  • Experience troubleshooting production and quality issues using data-driven analysis.
  • Working knowledge of computer applications used for reporting, documentation, and process monitoring.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
