Production Supervisor 5

Our client, a leading automotive manufacturing company, is seeking a Production Supervisor 5 to join their team. As a Production Supervisor 5, you will be part of the Manufacturing Operations Department supporting the Production, Quality, Safety, and Maintenance Teams. The ideal candidate will have leadership skills, strong communication abilities, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Production Supervisor 5
Location: Wentzville, MO
Pay Range: $42 - $48/hr

What's the Job?

• Lead daily production operations and supervise a team of approximately 40 hourly employees.
• Drive safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement initiatives in alignment with GM's SPQRCE framework.
• Monitor production metrics, conduct quality checks, and resolve operational issues.
• Coach employees, handle attendance and performance discussions, and maintain required documentation.
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, and quality teams to achieve manufacturing goals.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of manufacturing experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Experience leading production employees in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with computer systems including Excel, Word, Kronos, and production reporting tools
• Strong communication, multitasking, organization, and time-management skills.
