Our client, an organization advancing a more secure world through inventive electrical solutions, is seeking a Project Engineer to join their team. As a Project Engineer, you will be part of the engineering/design organization supporting project delivery and customer-focused technical execution. The ideal candidate will bring strong attention to detail, a proactive problem-solving mindset, and clear communication skills that help drive projects from design through resolution.
Pay Range:$85000 - $100000
What's the Job?
- Review quotes, proposals, and purchase orders to confirm design requirements, technical accuracy, and pricing.
- Develop project design schedules; monitor progress and resolve issues to keep work aligned with project goals.
- Coordinate design activities including civil design, steel fabrication, and project meetings to support smooth execution.
- Travel to customer sites to conduct technical evaluations, develop recommendations, and assist with field measurements when needed.
- Resolve project design and warranty issues and respond to customer feedback on drawings; review customer and internal drawings to ensure compliance with specifications and identify corrections as needed.
What's Needed?
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, or similar field.
- Working knowledge of drafting and 3-D modeling software (e.g., AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, or similar).
- 1-2+ years of engineering or design experience preferred.
- Ability to identify scope changes and initiate requests for change orders.
- Experience supporting engineering studies (e.g., CFD analysis) for customer projects or product development, plus a drive to improve products and processes.
