Quality Engineer II

Our client, a leading aerospace and advanced manufacturing company, is seeking a Quality Engineer II to join their team. As a Quality Engineer II, you will be part of the Quality Department supporting Manufacturing, Assembly, Engineering, Test, and Supply Chain teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and attention to detail which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Quality Engineer II
Location: Glendale, CA
Pay Range: $40.00 - $55.00/hour (DOE)

What's the Job?

• Provide Quality Assurance support for manufacturing, assembly, testing, customers, and suppliers.
• Support non-conforming material processes, Material Review Board (MRB) activities, and corrective actions.
• Review and approve product drawings, Acceptance Test Procedures (ATPs), manufacturing plans, and First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs).
• Lead root cause and corrective action investigations utilizing 8D, Fishbone, 5-Why, PFMEA, and related quality tools.
• Support audits, engineering change implementation, process improvements, and compliance with AS9100 quality standards.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of quality engineering experience within aerospace, automotive, or industrial manufacturing.
• Experience with quality methodologies including 8D, PFMEA, Fishbone Analysis, and Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA).
• Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and manufacturing documentation.
• Must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR and reside within 50 miles of Glendale, CA.
