Quality Engineer II

Our client, a global automotive manufacturing company, is seeking a Quality Engineer to join their team. As a Quality Engineer, you will be part of the Quality Department supporting Manufacturing Engineering, Production, and Continuous Improvement teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Quality Engineer
Location: Detroit, MI
Pay Range: $38 H/r - $45 H/r

What's the Job?

• Coordinate quality objectives with manufacturing and other cross-functional departments.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through error-proofing and mistake-proofing methodologies.
• Analyze assembly process and SPC data to identify trends and implement corrective actions.
• Utilize Advanced Quality Tools, including PFMEA, to support quality assembly processes.
• Work hands-on in a plant environment supporting engine assembly operations and quality improvements.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• 2-4 years of Quality Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of GD&T and CMM operations.
• Experience with SPC analysis, PFMEA, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and evaluate product quality standards.
