Our client, External Research Solutions is seeking a Scientist to join their team. As a Scientist, you will be part of the External Research Solutions organization supporting in vivo PK/PD and PK/PD activities across the drug discovery portfolio. The ideal candidate will have strong scientific judgment, a collaborative enabler mindset, and the ability to communicate clearly across internal stakeholders and external CRO partners, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

  • Coordinate external in vivo pharmacokinetic (PK), pharmacodynamic (PD), and PK/PD studies conducted at CROs.
  • Ensure compliance with external PK workflow and study requirements as defined in SOPs.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and CRO subject matter experts to help devise study approaches, including dose selection, sampling strategies, endpoints, bioanalytical requirements, and data interpretation.
  • Review CRO proposals, protocols, data packages, and reports, and execute studies in a timely, organized manner.
  • Identify risks and knowledge gaps, remove barriers, and recommend practical paths forward while supporting multiple programs with scientific rigor and clear communication.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline with 10+ years of industry experience, or a Master's degree with 5+ years, or a PhD with 1–3+ years of industry experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in in vivo PK, PD, and PK/PD within preclinical drug discovery.
  • Experience working with CROs and cross-functional scientific teams, including academia-industry partnerships.
  • Ability to influence without direct authority and operate independently with limited day-to-day direction.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including translating complex scientific information into actionable recommendations.
