Our client, a leader in industrial automation and manufacturing solutions, is seeking a Automation Controls Technician 2nd Shift to join their team. As a Automation Controls Technician 2nd Shift, you will be part of the Manufacturing Support Department supporting the Automation Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Automation Controls Technician 2nd Shift

Location: Lincoln, NH

Shift: 2nd Shift (3pm-11:30pm, Monday-Friday)

What's the Job?

  • Work alongside automation engineers and technicians to interpret designs and assist in bringing automation systems to life.
  • Study specifications, models, drawings, and descriptions to facilitate the building of automation equipment.
  • Manage projects by organizing and maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of work areas.
  • Organize incoming materials from machine shops and vendors for assigned projects.
  • Calculate dimensions, plan layouts, and determine assembly methods for various automation components.

What's Needed?

  • Five or more years of experience in a mechanic, manufacturing, or machinist environment, or equivalent training and education.
  • Hands-on skills from working on cars, farms, homes, or similar environments are highly valued.
  • Ability to verify dimensions, alignments, and clearances accurately.
  • Experience with wiring, plumbing, and basic automation electronics such as sensors and VFDs.
  • Willingness to attend training to expand knowledge of programming languages and machine maintenance.
