Our client, a leading technology organization specializing in innovative web applications, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Test Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Test Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Product Software QA Team, supporting the development and quality assurance of a mission-critical web application - Overwatch. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent collaboration abilities, and a passion for quality assurance, aligning successfully within a diverse and inclusive work environment.

Job Title: Test Engineer - Product Software QA

Location: Foster City, CA

Pay Range: $37/hour + Benefits

What's the Job?

  • Develop, maintain, and expand Playwright automation test cases to improve regression testing and test efficiency.
  • Perform manual testing for web application features, releases, hotfixes, and pre-merge validations.
  • Conduct vehicle mission testing and provide detailed reports and analysis on mission outcomes.
  • Utilize AI tools to enhance testing processes and test case development.
  • Support triage activities by identifying, reproducing, and verifying defects across various environments including Development, Staging, and Production.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience as a QA Engineer with proven skills in testing large-scale, complex applications.
  • Strong working experience with testing tools such as JIRA and TestRail.
  • Experience with automation testing frameworks, particularly Playwright, is highly desirable.
  • Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
