Our client is seeking a Customs Classification Specialist to join their team. As a Customs Classification Specialist, you will be part of the Global Customs Compliance Department supporting Global Customs Compliance Teams, Business Units, and International Stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, collaboration abilities, and excellent communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Remote / Hybrid (Client Location TBD)
Pay Range: Based on Experience

What's the Job? (max 5 bullets)

• Provide global customs classifications for commodities in accordance with WCO HS legal criteria and technical commodity specifications.
• Review and respond to classification requests from internal business partners and external stakeholders.
• Create, maintain, and update classification records within the Mercury GClass system.
• Analyze technical product information and assign accurate Harmonized System (HS) classifications.
• Collaborate with global customs compliance teams to ensure regulatory compliance and consistency.

• Experience in customs compliance, international trade, or customs classification.
• Working knowledge of WCO Harmonized System (HS) classification preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make informed business decisions independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail and confidentiality.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
