Our client, a leading consumer goods manufacturing company, is seeking a Quality Technician to join their team. As a Quality Technician, you will be part of the Quality Department supporting factory quality engineers, production teams, and quality managers. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to quality standards, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Quality Technician
Location: Vandalia, OH
Pay Range: $22.32 - $22.93 per hour
What’s the Job?
- Test and inspect products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Maintain gauges, test equipment, and testing machines to ensure accurate measurements and performance.
- Support quality engineers and managers in resolving customer and supplier quality issues.
- Conduct risk assessments and assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions.
- Perform visual inspections of incoming materials and finished products, documenting test and inspection results.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus.
- Experience in quality inspection, manufacturing, or a related environment preferred.
- Ability to use measuring tools, gauges, and testing equipment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Excellent attention to detail and accurate record-keeping skills.
