Our client, a leader in autonomous vehicle technology, is seeking a Shift Supervisor to join their team. As a Shift Supervisor, you will be part of the Fleet Operations department supporting Vehicle Operations teams. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive problem-solving mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Pay Range: $36.00

What's the Job?

  • Supervise and support a team of Vehicle Operators (VOs) to ensure safe and efficient execution of daily fleet operations.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to direct reports while fostering a safety-first culture.
  • Complete administrative tasks related to team coordination, scheduling, and operational planning.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on proprietary vehicle operations software and support mission execution in and out of vehicles.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contractors to achieve operational goals and maintain high performance standards.

What's Needed?

  • 12+ months of autonomous vehicle operator experience and an active AVT permit.
  • Strong leadership, team-building, and communication skills in a collaborative work environment.
  • Proven ability to problem-solve, improve operational efficiency, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent driving record and commitment to safety-focused operations.
  • Ability to provide clear written and verbal feedback while coordinating effectively with team members and management.
