Vehicle Technician Trainer

Our client, a leader in autonomous electric vehicle technology, is seeking a Trainer - Vehicle Technician to join their team. As a Trainer - Vehicle Technician, you will be part of the Base Operations (BaseOPS) Training Department supporting Vehicle Technicians, Maintenance Personnel, and Cross-Functional Operations Teams. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong technical expertise, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

 Pay Range: $56.76

What’s the Job?

• Research, analyze, and identify technical training needs to support team objectives.
• Develop lesson plans, training materials, presentations, and instructional content for vehicle technicians and operations teams.
• Conduct classroom and hands-on training covering EV systems, high-voltage safety, diagnostics, repairs, and autonomous vehicle fundamentals.
• Track training completion, evaluate effectiveness, and continuously improve programs based on feedback and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to standardize training content and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.

What’s Needed?

• 2-5 years of automotive, electric vehicle, or autonomous vehicle experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, schematics, diagnostics, and EV technologies.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts.
• Experience developing training materials, presentations, and instructional programs.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record; ability to pass background, MVR, and drug screening requirements.
