Vehicle Technician

Our client, an innovative leader in vehicle technology and engineering, is seeking a Vehicle Technician to join their dynamic team. As a Vehicle Technician, you will be an integral part of the Maintenance and Operations Department supporting fleet readiness and vehicle performance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical proficiency, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Vehicle Technician

Location: Austin, TX

Pay Range:$46/hr. (1st - 3rd shift differentials avail)

What's the Job?

• Configure, set up, maintain, diagnose, and sign off on vehicles for safe on-road operation
• Perform scheduled maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs to ensure vehicle readiness
• Coordinate and oversee the repair process, escalating issues to engineering teams when necessary
• Create diagnostic test plans and maintain detailed service records and quality reports
• Maintain shop facilities, tools, and workspace to ensure a safe and efficient environment

What's Needed?

• Extensive knowledge of vehicle maintenance methods, techniques, parts, tools, and materials
• Minimum of 2 to 4 years of technician experience in vehicle repair and maintenance
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple projects effectively
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
