Our client is seeking an Accounting Technician to join their team in Morrisville, NC. As an Accounting Technician, you’ll support day-to-day accounting operations, help maintain accurate financial records, and contribute to smooth processing of accounting activities. Job Title: Accounting Technician

Location: Morrisville, NC

Pay Range: $25

Shift: Part-time 16 hours/week

What's the Job?

  • Assist with accounts payable and/or accounts receivable processing to support timely and accurate financial transactions.
  • Help prepare, review, and organize accounting documentation, ensuring records are complete, consistent, and audit-ready.
  • Support month-end and routine accounting activities by compiling information, reconciling items as assigned, and flagging discrepancies.
  • Enter and verify data in accounting systems, maintaining accuracy and following established procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve questions, track outstanding items, and maintain clear documentation of work performed.

What's Needed?

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work accurately with financial data and documentation.
  • Basic understanding of accounting processes and terminology, with a willingness to learn and follow internal standards.
  • Comfort using spreadsheets and accounting or data entry systems to organize information and support reporting.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain consistency in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional communication skills to coordinate with teammates and respond to requests for information.
