Contract Analyst IV

Our client, Energy & Land Operations is seeking a Contract Analyst IV to join their team. As a Contract Analyst IV, you will be part of the Land Administration department supporting the Lower 48 non-op asset team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, confident communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Houston, TX (The Woodlands)

Pay Range:

Shift: 8 hours per shift

What's the Job?

• Analyze and input lease and contract data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency across land systems.
• Prepare full releases and Exhibit A documents for assignments and contracts.
• Manage and maintain monthly lease calendars to track rentals, shutins, minimum royalties, expirations, and other payment obligations.
• Determine rental payments, obligations, and expirations necessary to maintain leases in good standing.
• Process payments and billing records resulting from ownership changes, including assignments, deeds, probate, and related transactions.

What's Needed?

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with the ability to learn additional systems and applications.
• Working knowledge of Quorum Land System.
• Solid understanding of land principles, lease obligations, and land records management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to respond to landowner inquiries professionally.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment while handling confidential and proprietary information appropriately.
