Contract Chemist (6-Month) – Automotive R&D

Pays: $35-$51/hr.

We’re seeking a self-motivated, data-driven Chemist to join an innovative R&D team on a 6-month contract within a fast-paced automotive environment. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical expertise and a passion for problem-solving and product development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain analytical instruments (ICP-OES, FTIR, TGA, GC, HPLC)
• Develop and validate test methods for quality and product performance
• Conduct experiments across spectroscopy, chromatography, and wet chemistry
• Support product development, QC, and manufacturing troubleshooting
• Manage lab data in LIMS and produce clear technical reports
• Ensure compliance with GLP, CGMP, and ISO 9001 standards

• A Bachelors or Masters degree in Chemistry or related field
• Hands-on analytical and QC lab experience in manufacturing
• Strong problem-solving, data analysis, and communication skills
• Experience with LIMS and regulatory standards

• Pay of $35-$51/hr.
