Our client is seeking an Industrial Painter I to join their team. As an Industrial Painter I, you will be part of the production team supporting the painting and finishing process. Job Title: Industrial Painter I

Location: Worcester, MA 01606

Pay Rate: $18.70 per hour

Shift: Monday-Friday | 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM

What's the Job?

  • Paint parts and units and/or guide the loading of products onto the paint conveyor to support assembly line and customer requirements.
  • Hang parts and kits on the paint line in sequence according to direction from planning and scheduling.
  • Operate lift and burn-off oven, and set up, operate, and maintain automatic powder booths; shut down paint line equipment as required.
  • Check completed parts to ensure compliance with Worcester Plant Quality standards and make necessary adjustments to meet quality goals.
  • Maintain equipment and perform housekeeping duties as necessary while adhering to all environmental, health, and safety rules and work instructions.

What's Needed?

  • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited school.
  • 3+ months experience in a light to medium industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations
  • Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Reside within 50 miles of Worcester, MA.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ year of manufacturing experience.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced production environment.

Physical Requirements

  • Frequent standing, bending, and movement throughout the shift.
  • Regularly lift up to 35 lbs and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work safely around industrial equipment and manufacturing processes.
