What You'll Do
- Serve food and beverages to guests during a large event
- Provide friendly and professional customer service
- Assist with banquet room setup before the event
- Assist with event breakdown and cleanup after the event
- Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the shift
- Follow instructions from banquet supervisors and event staff
- Work efficiently as part of a team to ensure a successful event
- Adhere to all food service and safety guidelines
- Help create a positive and welcoming experience for guests
Must-Have Qualifications
- Reliable transportation to the job site in Charleston, WV
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift, carry, and move banquet equipment as needed
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Black pants (no sweatpants or leggings)
- Plain black button-up shirt (no polo shirts)
- Black non-slip shoes
- No Hats or Facial tattoos are permitted
- Previous banquet serving experience
- Restaurant or hospitality experience
- Experience working weddings, conferences, or special events
- Strong guest service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
