Cook I

Our client, Corporate Services is seeking a Cook I to join their team. As a Cook I, you will be part of the Food Service team supporting meal production for multiple meal periods. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a steady pace in a fast-moving kitchen, and a commitment to safe food handling practices, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Cook I

Location: West Charlotte, NC

Pay Range: $19.17 per hour

Shift: 6:30AM-3:00PM

What's the Job?

• Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Special/Catered Events.
• Follow established food preparation and presentation standards to support consistent meal quality across service periods.
• Support smooth kitchen operations by working efficiently during peak meal times and special event service.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness in assigned work areas to support safe, sanitary food handling.
• Assist with meal service needs as directed to ensure timely delivery of prepared food.

What's Needed?

• Ability to learn and follow food safety and kitchen procedures consistently.
• Comfort working in a kitchen environment with clear expectations for speed, accuracy, and quality.
• Willingness to prepare, portion, and present food items according to established standards.
• Basic readiness to support multiple meal periods, including special/catered events.
• Dependable teamwork mindset and willingness to follow direction from the onsite leadership team.
