Our client, a leading organization in the industry, is seeking a Preboarding Specialist to join their team. As a Preboarding Specialist, you will be part of the HR Operations support team, ensuring a smooth and compliant onboarding process for new hires. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Preboarding Specialist

Location: Houston, TX

Pay Range: $27.59 per hour 

Shift: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm 
Schedule: Monday to Friday 

What's the Job?

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates, welcoming them and communicating next steps throughout the preboarding process.
  • Conduct proactive outreach and follow-ups to ensure timely completion of pre-employment requirements.
  • Coordinate and track pre-employment screenings, including background checks, drug tests, and physicals.
  • Support scheduling and rescheduling of drug tests and physical appointments to ensure start-date readiness.
  • Monitor screening progress and follow up with candidates and vendors to resolve outstanding items.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred or a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in HR operations or compliance roles.
  • High-volume hiring experience, including support of compressed hiring timelines.
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills with the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer-service mindset.
  • Proficiency with Google Suite; Workday experience is preferred.
