Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Specialist II to join their team. As a Quality Specialist II, you will be an integral part of the Quality Assurance department supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Quality Specialist II

Location: Hercules, CA

Shift: Day

What's the Job?

  • Validate simple and complex quality control protocols and test methodologies to ensure product integrity.
  • Perform root cause analysis of issues and dysfunctions, leading to effective corrective actions.
  • Participate in change control processes, update SOPs, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Create and verify accuracy of Certificates of Analysis (CofA) and internal batch recordings.
  • Conduct audits, risk analyses, and support quality improvement initiatives across manufacturing processes.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Mecatronic, Electronic Engineering, or related field; advanced degrees preferred.
  • Minimum of 2+ years experience in manufacturing quality control, especially with electro-mechanical components.
  • Understanding of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and experience in regulated environments preferred.
  • Strong computer skills, with experience in ERP systems such as SAP preferred.
  • Ability to perform basic data analysis and lead quality improvement projects.
