Our client, Grocery Retail is seeking a Store Leader to join their team. As a Store Leader, you will be part of the Store Operations supporting the Store Team(s). The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to drive results through day-to-day execution, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Store Leader
Location: Rolla, MO (On-site)
Pay Range: $85000 - $95000
What's the Job?
- Lead daily assessments of the store’s ability to meet and exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness, cleanliness, food safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Manage overall day-to-day store operations, including training and developing store associates to achieve desired sales and profit results.
- Coach and develop store associates through both formal and informal interactions, reinforcing a culture of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.
- Drive merchandising and operational initiatives to ensure the store is customer-ready every day.
- Achieve and exceed weekly, period, and annual sales, revenue, and profit budgets while reducing shrink and improving each department’s contribution.
What's Needed?
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 3+ years of experience with satisfactory performance appraisals as an assistant store leader or in another position at the same pay level or above.
- Successful completion of the applicable division’s Leadership Essentials Program.
- Experience overseeing financial responsibilities, including budget preparation and management (desired).
- 3+ years of retail experience and 3+ years of experience as an assistant store leader (desired).
