Location: Los Angeles, CA
Pay Rate: $40/hr
Employment Type: Full-Time Contract; potential contract-to-hire opportunity based on availability
Schedule: 9:00am-5:30pm, Monday-Friday; weekend rotation every 3 weeks

Why This Role Matters

As a Registered Dietitian, you will play a vital role in supporting patient recovery and wellness through comprehensive nutrition assessments, evidence-based interventions, and interdisciplinary collaboration. This position offers exposure to a variety of patient populations within a 220-bed acute care facility.

What You'll Do

• Conduct 8-17 patient nutrition assessments daily and develop individualized care plans.
• Provide nutrition counseling and education to support disease management and recovery.
• Manage patients across ICU, Medical/Surgical, and Telemetry units.
• Develop and monitor nutrition support plans, including TPNs and Enteral Nutrition (3-in-1 formulations).
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes within the Cerner EMR system.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and clinical best practices.

What We're Looking For

• A current, up-to-date resume
• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field
• Registered Dietitian credential (RD/RDN) through the Commission on Dietetic Registration
• Previous acute care hospital experience required
• Strong ICU nutrition knowledge and experience managing critically ill patients
• Experience with TPNs and Enteral Nutrition support
• Team-oriented mindset with flexibility to adapt in a dynamic healthcare environment
• Experience using Cerner EMR preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to meet compliance requirements
