Location: Minneapolis, MN

Pay Rate: $23.20 - $24.90 per hour (based on experience)

Employment Type: Contingent with potential pathway for hire

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:30 PM

Your expertise in pediatric, geriatric, and routine specimen collection will directly support accurate diagnostic testing and patient care outcomes.

What You'll Do

• Perform venipuncture, capillary, pediatric, geriatric, and forensic specimen collections following established procedures
• Verify patient identity, accurately label specimens, and ensure proper documentation
• Prepare and process specimens for laboratory testing
• Maintain a safe, professional, and patient-focused environment
• Explain procedures to patients and help create a positive and comfortable experience
• Complete daily activities accurately and on schedule while meeting quality standards
• Travel to and support multiple patient service center and office locations as needed
• Demonstrate strong customer service, professionalism, and attention to confidentiality

What We're Looking For

• A current, up-to-date resume
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
• At least one recent year of pediatric specimen collection experience required
• Experience working in a Patient Service Center environment preferred
• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
• Phlebotomy certification preferred
• Strong customer service and patient interaction skills
• Keyboard/data entry experience
• Reliable transportation and the ability to travel between locations as needed
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to support staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, overtime, or on-call coverage when required
• Ability to meet compliance requirements including immunizations (MMR, Varicella, Tdap, and TB Test required; COVID and Flu vaccinations strongly recommended)
• Must be eligible and provide proof of eligibility to work in the US
