Location: Burton, MI

Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour

Employment Type: Contingent with potential pathway for hire

Schedule: Days, Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM

What You'll Do

  • Perform venipuncture, capillary, pediatric, geriatric, and other specimen collections following established procedures
  • Accurately process, label, and prepare specimens for laboratory testing
  • Verify patient demographics and ensure specimen labeling accuracy through required documentation and patient confirmation
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
  • Provide exceptional customer service while explaining procedures and addressing patient concerns
  • Support multiple patient service locations as needed based on staffing and operational requirements
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation while meeting productivity and quality standards

What We're Looking For

  • A current, up-to-date resume
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
  • Strong specimen collection, processing, and patient interaction skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Keyboard and data entry experience
  • Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel between locations as needed
  • Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
  • Previous Patient Service Center experience preferred
  • Ability to meet compliance requirements
  • Must be eligible and provide proof of eligibility to work in the US
