Electro Mechanical Technician

Our client, an industry leader in HVAC testing and maintenance, is seeking an Electro Mechanical Technician to join their team. As an Electro Mechanical Technician, you will be part of the testing and maintenance department supporting the development and testing of HVAC components. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, effective communication, and a hands-on approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Electro Mechanical Technician

Location: Buffalo Grove, IL

Pay Range: $30.00

Shift: 8:00 am to 4:00 pm

What's the Job?

• Assist in testing HVAC components and devices in a mechanical test lab environment
• Perform electrical and mechanical tests, record data, and archive results
• Support the building and testing of prototypes for new or improved designs
• Develop and execute preventative maintenance plans for lab equipment
• Design, update, troubleshoot, and maintain test infrastructure and fixtures

What's Needed?

• Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge, with familiarity in HVAC systems a positive
• Hands-on experience with mechanical tools and debugging mechanical issues
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficiency with basic computer applications such as Word, email, and data entry
