Facilities Technician

Our client, a leading organization in property management, is seeking a Facilities Technician to join their team. As a Facilities Technician, you will be part of the maintenance and operations department supporting building management and tenant services. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, solid knowledge of maintenance tasks, excellent teamwork skills, and preferably HVAC experience, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Facilities Technician

Location: Coral Gables, FL

Pay Range: $30/hour

Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

What's the Job?

• Perform routine maintenance tasks including painting, pressure washing, and lighting system upkeep
• Maintain work order system (CMMS) and address tenant service requests promptly
• Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections on building systems
• Support emergency response and on-call situations as needed
• Troubleshoot electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and control systems to ensure optimal operation

What's Needed?

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in repair, maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or carpentry
• Trade school education, union training, military service, or college background is desirable
• Universal CFC EPA certification or a strong interest in obtaining it within the first year (with support)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work comfortably using ladders up to 30 feet tall
