Facilities Technician

Our client, a leading organization in the commercial facilities management industry, is seeking a Facilities Technician to join their team. As a Facilities Technician, you will be part of the Facilities Support team supporting daily operations and maintenance activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proactive problem-solving, excellent communication skills, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Facilities Technician

Location: South San Francisco, CA

Pay Range: $36-39/hour

Shift: First shift, M-F 8am-4:30pm

What's the Job?

• Maintain and support the daily operations of commercial facilities to ensure safety, functionality, and comfort for occupants
• Participate in preventive maintenance activities on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
• Respond promptly to service requests and emergency issues, coordinating with external vendors and contractors as needed
• Conduct safety inspections, testing safety equipment, and ensuring compliance with OSHA standards and local regulations
• Provide excellent customer service to tenants, visitors, and management, supporting meeting and event setups

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2-3 years of experience in facilities maintenance or related field
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
• Ability to read floorplans and technical documents/manuals
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
