Our client, a leading food production company, is seeking a Maintenance Lead  to join their team. As a Maintenance Lead, you will be part of the production department supporting the vegetable processing team. 
 

Job Title: Maintenance Lead

Location: Manteno, IL

Pay Range: $35 - $40 per/hr

Shift: 1st 

What's the Job?
The Maintenance Lead will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and reliability of our production equipment and facilities to ensure optimal operational efficiency and minimal downtime. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a related field is a plus.
• Proven experience in maintenance and leadership roles within the food manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
