Maintenance Technician

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Location: Richmond, VA

Pay Rate: $65,208 annually 

Shift: 6:30am-2pm

What's the Job?

• Perform maintenance functions including repairs in electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems with minimal supervision
• Plan and execute projects while providing accurate cost estimates under guidance of the maintenance supervisor
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to ensure smooth operations
• Assist in developing and implementing preventative maintenance programs
• Support installation of new equipment and participate in quality improvement initiatives

What's Needed?

• At least 2 years of related mechanical experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of electrical circuit troubleshooting, PLC, electronics, and pneumatic systems
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and piping diagrams
• Mechanical Journeyman or Technical/Vocation Certificate preferred
• Ability to lift 50 to 70 lbs occasionally and work in confined spaces or at heights as needed
