• Performs and oversees (internal and contractor) maintenance and repair of equipment and building, using plumbing, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, welding, and fabrication skills
• Develops, oversees, and/or carries out preventive maintenance plan in cooperation with manufacturing and production control departments.
• Orders and maintains supplies and replacement parts/components in order to assure uninterrupted production
• Documents all maintenance performed within BigFoot
• Assists set-up technicians with troubleshooting machine/equipment functions.
• Maintains a clean and efficient work area, including physical space, tools, and equipment
• Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned

• Seeks additional value-added activities within the job when an individual’s time is not fully utilized
• Communicates regularly with supervisors and support staff
• Participates in Kaizan and corrective action events as required
• Promotes and provides feedback for continual improvement of processes
• Performs 5S and other duties as required

What do you bring?

•  
• Three years of experience in a manufacturing machinery, electronic components, and facility maintenance position
• Familiarity with plastic extrusion equipment and process preferred
• Tow motor license required; license must be completed within 90-days of hire
